Online learning opportunities
Disciple Bible Study is now being offered online. Churches, districts, clusters, etc. will now be able to facilitate a class within a church or across church boundaries (which strengthens the connectional system) by linking people together on the Internet.
It could be a great opportunity for advanced lay speaking classes, lay speakers supplying churches, persons in candidacy for ministry, new church start members and campus ministries and other cultural segements that are comfortable with online learning and would benefit from a strong Biblical foundation.
Online learning is also helpful for people with handicapping conditions which make travel difficult and people who are busy due to shift work or business travel which prevents them from participating in a regularly scheduled class.
